Shorty's ears stand up on their own and he has beautiful markings. He is a little shy and takes time to get to know us, but he is getting better each day. He is sweet and loves to cuddle and sit in my lap or anywhere as close to us as he can get. He is very good in his crate and goes in on his own sometimes and sleeps.

Meet Oliver! He is quickly adjusting to a pampered life, in fact his favorite thing to do is sunbathe in the backyard. He is shy but day by day his confidence is growing. Nori is very cute, and petite. His ear stand on there own, his tail has been docked, his due claws have been docked also. His personality is very sweet and easy to handle, he is enthusiastic and a firecracker! So far he has not had an accident in the house he seems to be house trained. But I let them out often. He loves to cuddle and be close to you. I have been crating him to eat and sleep and when I go out and he is getting used to it he does howl a little. He barks a little but it is not excessive and he is not a whiner.

Vador: 6½ yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 11-12 lb. Shots up-to-date. Owner give-up.
Vador was very well loved and taken care of. He is a very good boy, has adjusted to being in a new home. He had not been crated for 6 years and even has settled right into being crated while his foster mom works, he has also spent a few nights in there too and has done fine.
He has a teeny tiny kong which he loves and loves to play fetch with it inside. He also enjoys to take it out side in the fenced yard and play fetch with it too. He does well He brings it right back to you! He Loves walks that is how he did his business in his old home.
He travels well they took him every where with them. He rode well in the car too when I brought him to my house. He is house broke and will tell you when he has to go, has had no accidents in his foster home. He does of course Have to be either leashed or in a fenced yard as he is a runner I was told.
He is very independent and isn't really a "kid dog" He doesn't mind older kids (maybe School age and older ) But not toddlers.
Vador Loves to cuddle Under covers and does like to sleep under the covers in the human bed too ! But he will also sleep on top of covers at your feet with his "purple" Blanket. He will also sleep in his Kennel at night quietly.
Vador had his same home for most of his life he just needs a home where he will be well loved and spoiled.

Tucker: 4 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 12", 10 lb. Owner give-up.
Tucker is a typical Min Pin, in that he loves to play with stuffed animals (especially if they squeak) and to burrow under blankets. He would love to go exploring and hiking with you. He's great with strangers and usually comes to sit at their feet in the hopes of getting a treat. He is the happiest when he's curled up next to you on the couch or snuggling with you under the covers. He loves to run, chase, be chased, wrestle and play with other dogs and doesn't seem to notice when they're a lot bigger than he is. Throw in a tennis ball, and he's one happy boy! He gets along with some cats, depending on the cat.
Tucker knows some commands, such as sit, come, and stay. He needs help with potty training, as his owners didn't have the time to consistently train him. He's a smart dog and should learn very quickly with someone who will take the time and give positive reinforcement.
The perfect home for Tucker would be with someone who has the time to work with him on potty training and take him out for exercise. A fenced yard would be wonderful and another dog to play with would make him very happy. Children make him nervous, so no kids, please. He has a wonderful, fun personality, and no behavior problems that we are aware of. Tucker is very sweet and we want to find him a home where he can get the time and attention he deserves.

Suzy: 8 yr old black & tan female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 13 lb. Rescued from shelter.
She is beginning to get her girlish figure back having lost almost 2 lbs already and looking oh so cute! When you talk real cute to her she will cock her head and listen to you like you are saying something ever so important.
Suzy is a cuddle bug, what we call a "pocket pup". She will sleep in her crate at night or be happiest snuggling under the covers next to you. If you want a good tv buddy she will sit right next to you on the couch and watch movies.
She is house broken and does best with a doggie door.
She is very healthy, heart worm negative. She is very friendly with guests and loves to have her belly rubbed by just about anyone. She is a low maintainence gal who will steal your heart if you let her.

Odie: 7 mth old stag red male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 13", 9.12 lb.
This sweet puppy has done a lot of living in his 7 short months. Unfortunately, it wasn't all good. His leg was broken in two places a few weeks ago, but not fixed. He ended up being surrendered at a vet clinic. Then an angel from IMPS came along and took him home with her. Because he didn't get the care he should have when his leg was first broken, it was beyond repair and had to be amputated. The good news is, Odie is doing just fine and was walking on 3 legs the next morning after surgery. He is getting around wonderfully, able to get up the front stairs now and is playing with a ball. He likes to empty out the toy boxes all over the house. Odie is a snuggler and loves to be held. He is very active and will need a securely fenced yard. This guy is an escape artist if left alone-losing a leg hasn't slowed him down one bit. Odie rides very well in the car, enjoys sunbathing in the living room window, likes to be up on the back of a chair or sofa, burrows in blankets, and gets along with other dogs and the one cat he's met so far.
Odie shows some fear and timidity. We think he will get over his bad memories quickly with love and patience. He would do best in a home with no small children, but would love another small dog to play with. He's very smart and obedience class is recommended. Not only are they wonderful for bonding, but they also give dogs a confidence boost, which Odie could use, given what he's been through. He's a very sweet baby with years of love to give some lucky someone. If you think that could be you, please email his foster mom for more information. Odie should be recovered from surgery and ready for a new home by the end of April.

Ace is a great dog who gets along with other dogs and cats. He loves to ride in the car. He is housebroken using a doggie door. He just came into rescue, but so far we have not seen any bad behavior. "Hello everyone, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Skypper. I am fun, fun, fun, fun, fun! My foster mom says that I am the most handsome dynamo around. I love to give kisses and hugs. I am a typical min pin-full of life, tons of energy, love toys and competitive. I love to wrestle, play ball, run and chase around with one of my foster sisters that is just as fast if not faster than any min pin I have ever seen. That is pretty amazing since she is a pug/doxie. I do have a quiet and shy side. I like to hang out with my foster family, watching moves and snuggling up with a blanket on my foster mom’s lap. I even get along with the cats, though I do like to tease them a bit. I don’t know my commands very good, but I am working on them. Brach is a senior, (around 14 yr.), who doesn't know it! Brach came from a person
who kept 60 dogs in a shed. But I believe he must have been a "house" dog before. He loves
people and is good with other dogs. No cats. He can be a little "bossy" but he's not mean.
He likes sitting in your lap or laying on the floor, but he loves his blankie and covers
his self up totally! He's been with me since August. He has lost weight and toned up. He's
12 inches tall and 11 lbs. His sight isn't the best but he loves to play and lay in the
sun. The lump from his right shoulder goes away after he's up awhile (kinda like my back).
Brach is quiet and loving. He'll need help with housetraining; sometimes he forgets his
house manners. All in all, he is a love. Stand-up ears and docked tail, with the chocolate

This is Kate. She is quite a girl. She may be older but has a whole lot of spunk! Kate gets along well with dogs, but is a bit curious with cats. She is a very sweet girl and loves people. Kate is tall with long legs and has a beautiful gait and is just an all around beautiful girl in general.
Kate doesn't especially like to be in a crate, but will go in if she is offered a treat. She would probably do best in a home with someone home for most of the day. Kate likes to sleep, especially in the sun. She is easy to care for and fairly laid back.

Cleo: 10 yr old red female, spayed, docked tail and cropped ears. 10", 10 lb.
Cleo is a sweet girl who deserves more than the life that she has had for the past six years. She was rescued from a puppymill and THAT is no place for ANY dog!
Cleo's feet are splayed from living in a cage and walks a little like a duck. She was overweight, but has lost about 4 pounds since being in her foster home. She looks absolutely fabulous! Cleo will need to be kept on a light food and limited or low fat treats. She also has lost some teeth due to her past puppy mill life.
The expression in her face has changed from a look of loneliness to a look of happiness. You can tell the difference between her old lifestyle and her present lifestyle, just by looking at the glow in her eyes and her tail that is finally wagging.
Cleo would do best in a home with no big dogs and no male dogs. Cleo likes toys and has not shown any aggression at all. Cleo's favorite pastimes are walking outside in the grass and basking in the sun. She also likes to sleep in bed with a member of the family, rather than a crate, where she spent most of her life.

Bunny: Approx 12-13 yr old black & tan female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. Shots up-to-date.
Bunny - Bunny Foo Foo ..... the honey...... the sweetie....... the darling......... the beauty...... the PRINCESS!! Well........... Bunny wants to be the princess and be the only dog in the home. She growls at the other dogs because she really doesn't like them. She is not so nice to cats, so no furry felines for Bunny!! On the other hand........or paw.........I should say......she is very sweet and loving. She loves to snuggle and cuddle, and also loves to nap on a sunny afternoon. Bunny will need to be the only dog in the home so she can get all the attention. The BEST part of this is, her family will receive all of her love and attention back!!
Bunny is food and treat aggressive because she thinks someone wants to steal her food, so she will need a home who will say "Hey!! I understand this issue and willing to work with her!" It may be that Bunny will not be allowed have chew treats, so that she is not put in the position to be food aggressive. There are ways to work with a food aggressive dog, and we can give some guidance to her new adoptive family. Bunny would do best in a home with a retired person and is by no means a meanie; she is very sweet when she can have one-on-one bonding time.

Lil'Joe AKA Joey: 6 years old, 9.5 lbs, cropped and docked, black and tan male shelter rescue.
Joey is missing an eye which appears to be from an old wound but has no problems with just one. He just looks like he is winking at you. Joey knows how to "sit" and will go to the "kennel" on command for a treat and is working on other basic commands as well. He is housebroken and will go to the door to let you know when he wants to go outside.
Joey really is a nice little guy once he has warmed up to you. Just like a typical pin he does snuggle under the blankets in your bed or in his crate. His new forever home must be an experienced dog owner, adult household and have a fenced in back yard. Joey is not best suited for an apartment or close living situations as he can be vocal at times. Joey would be okay with another small dog that is not alpha and he is good with cats. Some of Joey's favorite things are going for nice walks, lying in the sun, chewing on a bone and of course sitting next to his person at all available times. Joey is a fast learner and is very smart. This little guy is looking for his forever home. He is good with other small dogs and cats. He would do best with older children. Spike is timid when he meets new people, but once he gets comfortable with you he is full of kisses and wants to be petted. He just needs someone to give him a chance to get to know him. He is mostly housebroken, but once he gets on a consistent schedule, he will do great. He needs a home with a fenced in yard.

"Hi my name is Dane. I'm a bigger pin, 12# and 13", b/t with a white chest and some white on my toes. I'm 5 years old, and very active. My ears stand straight up, and my tail is docked. I love to run, play, and cuddle, but can be a bit aggressive with my toys, as well as my food. I get along with the other six here without problems, and my foster Mom and I are working on my manners. I know my commands, but really do not like to sit for long or wait for my turn, but I'm doing much better. When I came to my foster Mom's house, I only weighed 9#, but I'm very healthy now with a beautiful coat. I'm a very good watch dog, and walk well on lead. I'm also crate trained and have my own crate. I do my business outside, but I really hate the cold!"

Zoey: 5½ years old black & tan spayed female, docked tail and un-cropped ears, 10 lbs. Shots up-to-date and micro-chipped. She is crate and potty trained. She gets along very well with other dogs.
Zoey can be a little shy with new people but warms up quickly and then is playful, sweet and loves to be on a lap or beside her human. Zoey is a little food thief, she will butt into anyone else's bowl once she has finished hers, we are working with her on this and she is making progress. Zoey can be an escape artist and a big climber, she will scale her way up and over most gates. Or she will find a way under, around or through to be people or other dogs. However, if her humans and Kobe are with her, she will run, play and prance about without a care in the world.

Kobe is very shy of new people and dogs and gets scared easily. He needs a home that is willing to be patient and work with him. He likes to protect his food and toys, something else that his new home needs to be willing to work with him on. Kobe has learned quickly from our other dogs behaviors, so I believe it is only a matter of time before this behavior will diminish. Once he is comfortable with his surroundings and people, he is a lovable little cuddle-bug. Kobe loves to snuggle under a blanket or pillow. He is the sweetest little guy you will ever see.

Guy: "Hi! My name is Guy-a sleek, slender 3 yr old, black and rust, docked tail, natural and very expressive ears, 15" and about 14#. I am such a cuddler, waiting on the back of a special chair for my foster Mom to stop and pat me so I can put my paws around her neck and give her a great big hug. I love to run in the big back yard and chase everything....my favorites are the squirrels and rabbits, but when Mom says it is time to come into the house she says I fly like a bullet. I get along with the other 9 puppers in the house, and will go into my crate when necessary and to eat, but otherwise have the run of the house. I watch my home for my foster Mom, and have a big-boy bark when I see those darn rabbits and squirrels, but I have a special bark if there is someone around the house that I don't know.......I make friends everywhere I go, but I want a few minutes to get to know someone....I let a special needs friend pet me a few minutes after meeting her, and walked into a crowded clinic without issue but with some curiosity with the cats and other dogs.
I love to curl up at my foster Mom's back or on the couch, but if there is a squirrel or a rabbit in the front yard I am at the big window barking...my Mom says I act like a goofball.....but I stop when she tells me 'enough'......"
Guy is up to date on everything, microchipped, and neutered. He is a big sweety,and would make a wonderful running partner with a bit of coaching. He really doesn't like the crate but goes in on command. Guy did bark this last week with the bad storms, and loves to watch out the window, barking at the squirrels and rabbits. Buck is a sweet, bigger pin. At around 13" and 13 lbs. Natual ears and a cropped tail. Buck takes a while to warm up to people but once he does, he is a love. Buddy - "ADOPTION PENDING": approx 1-2 yr old red male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 14", 13 lb.
Buddy is a GREAT little guy. He was found by a good samaritan, who tried for a month to find his owners. Unfortunately no one was looking for him.
Buddy learned "sit" and "down" in about 10 minutes which shows how smart he is. Buddy is a bit of a "wild child", who loves to run, run, run, leap, leap and run some more. He has lots of energy, but will settle down nicely in your arms or under a blanket for cuddle time. Buddy would do best with an active home, preferably with a fenced yard. We will also require the adoptive home to take him to a basic obedience class. Not that he is bad in any way, but because of his rambunctious nature, it would benefit him to learn a few more commands and have extra bonding time with his new family.
Buddy is definitely top-of-the-line handsome; one of the most stunning that I have had in foster care. He has a beautiful coat and markings and very strong, muscular and sturdy. He is friendly and cuddly and loving. He sleeps with us under the blankets every night and sleeps well through the night.
Ideally, Buddy would do best with someone who is not gone long hours and a home that has another playful dog. He does fine with the other four minpins in my home.

"Hi I'm Sable, a gorgeous 10 year old, b/t, natural expressive ears and docked tail. When I came to my foster Mom I weighed nearly 25# and had a cardiac cough, but with some wonderful vetting and a diet I enjoy I'm now about 15# and still working on my new figure. I'm very well socialized, have a little bark unless it's important and then I can let everybody know that I'm watching them. My entire body is in motion when anyone comes to visit, and love to curl up on the big chair or in a warm blanket with the others here."
Sable has right-sided heart enlargement and is currently on lasix and enalapril...hopefully when her weight is under control she will only need minimal medication. This precious, happy pin gets along with everybody here only asking to be as close as she can to her people and frequent potty breaks in the morning after her medication. She is also loving to be outside and is starting to tone after her weight loss. She would be a wonderful companion for nearly any household.....

Zeus: 12+ yr old red male, docked tail and cropped ears. 13", 10 lb. Shots up-to-date. Rescued from shelter.
"Hi, my name is Zeus or as my foster Mom calls me..."Hey Zeus"....I got that name because I'm soooo sweet and on my travels to my foster Mom a sweet neice of another volunteer said that every time she saw me......I'm older, 12 1/2 yrs, chocolate and rust, and came from a shelter so Mom can only guess what all I've been thru. I'm 11#, and have a paddle-like walk....Mom is pretty sure I'm deaf, and I had a significant heart murmur coming into rescue, but it's lots better with an inexpensive medicine every morning. My coat still has some really awful scars on my back, and I was really flaky but with some antibiotics that is improving along with a few baths that I held really still for. I love to go outside and do my business but I still have to wear a belly band in the house cause Mom says I'm a marker..."
HeyZeus is wonderfully social and as sweet a pupper as I've ever had the privilege to foster. He looks and acts like life has not been easy for this little guy but he holds no grudges. I do have to watch him at feeding time because he's oblivious to the other's warnings and tries to help himself to others food. He was recently neutered and had a dental where the vet had to graft one spot-he'd lost a fang with communication to his sinus, but he's done wonderfully and back to eating anything offered. He loves to curl up with Sable and the others on the big chair. HeyZeus has formed a protective relationship with my very fragile oldster Milo keeping him warm and cleaning his coat. Maynard: 2 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 14", 11 lb. Rescued from shelter.
Here's Maynard. What a very sweet boy he is!
Maynard was turned in as a stray at a shelter and no one came looking for him. He is the sweetest Minpin that I have had in rescue. Maynard is very laid back and gets along with other dogs, doesn't seem to mind my cat and LOVES people. He has shown no aggression at all, not a growl and not even a bark. I wonder if he even knows how. I would like to find him a home before my own Minpins teach him what barking is all about.
Maynard doesn't act as if he has been abused, but he doesn't act as if he has been loved. He is very low-key and easy to care for. He is not your typical high energized minpin. I have not tested him with children, but knowing his temperament, my guess is that he would do fine.
Maynard loves to sleep in bed with his family, at night, and sleeps well throughout the night without a peep. He doesn't seem interested in playing with other dogs; he is very mellow and just an all around good kid.

Sam: 1 yr old red female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11 lb. Shots up-to-date.
This sweet girl Sam was dumped at a shelter by her owners. Apparently something happened to her left eye which they had left untreated. Since her eye was not treated when it should been, the vet had to remove it. She was in a lot of pain, there was a lot of swelling and we had to have it removed. Sam was such a trooper going through the surgery and everything has healed with no issues. She is the sweetest girl who has such a great temperament for all she has been through. She loves people and other dogs; I cannot imagine she would meet anyone that she doesn't like. Having only one eye does not slow her down and she is just as beautiful as any of the other girl min pins!
Sam is a young girl who loves to play with other dogs, but when she is tired, she loves to snuggle next to you on the couch under the blankies or she loves to chew on a bone. Sam is 100% housebroken and will go to the back door to let you know when she has to go out. She is crate trained and will go in for a treat. Sam would definitely benefit from obedience training; she is a quick learner. She knows how to sit and comes when you call her. Sam only deserves a loving home that wants a cuddly, sweet, young girl! Bella is a sweet and very energetic girl, who loves to be involved in everything. She is housebroken and even goes on potty pads. Bella loves her toys, the squeakier the toy the better. She is crazy about her walks and loves to run. Bella can run four miles at a time and still has the energy to pull you along the entire time. As much as she enjoys being active Bella also loves to relax. If you are looking for an affectionate lap dog, she is your girl. Bella loves to cuddle. Bella is also great to sleep with at night, she loves to burrow under covers and does not stir until the morning. Like most min pins Bella loves to eat so monitoring her diet is important. Bella does bark at strangers when they come to the home but only does this out of protection for her owners and the home. Bella is great with other dogs. Bella prefers not to be alone for long periods of time. She is a very social animal and needs an owner that is home and has a lot of time to spend with her.

"My name is Spike and I am a happy go lucky little guy. I had to have a bunch of teeth pulled when I first came into rescue so now my tongue always hangs out just a little bit, but it just adds to my cute smile. My former owners had their baby granddaughter come to live with them and I guess I must have been a little jealous as my former mom said I was nippy around the baby. My foster mom said I was a real good boy when her 3, 6 and 9 year old grandsons were here for a week and I sure did like playing with them and getting treats. I am housebroken and like to go in my crate with a treat so the other dogs here don't try and steal it from me. My only bad habit is that until I get to know anyone I consider a stranger, I try to bite at their feet when they first come into my house. Once I get to know them, then I love to cuddle and am their bestest friend. I sure would love a forever home - could it be yours?"

Diesel is a very well behaved & quiet little guy. Very lovable, affectionate & happy. He loves to explore the yard, doesn't mind staying in his crate & goes outside to do his business. Diesel had broken his leg prior to coming into rescue & was not given the proper care. His leg healed & he does uses it the best he can. This doesn't stop him from playing & being happy. AnaBella: 7 yr old red female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 12-13", 15.6 lb. Shots up-to-date. Owner give-up.
SPECIAL NEEDS DOG: AnaBella is a delightful, very intelligent dog who is completely blind from untreated dry eye. She originally came into rescue in 2003 and was partially blind, and has since lost her sight completely. She is back in rescue because her family moved and their apartment would not take dogs. It only took 3 days for her to completely learn her way around my one acre fenced in yard. She was housebroken using a doggy door in her former home, and needs a bit of work on housetraining, but learns quickly and this shouldn't be a problem in her new home. She walks well on a leash, but due to her blindness would prefer a fenced in yard so she can run. She tends to jump at people and paw the air a bit, not being able to see, so she may not be good around really small children, but older kids would be fine. AnaBella will need drops in her eyes the rest of her life (to treat the dry eye) so it will be a long term commitment to medicate her twice a day. We are also treating the dry eye with prescription drops in her food. Both the eye drops and food supplement are relatively cheap and cost less than $10 per month. If you would like to give this deserving little blind girl a forever home, please feel free to contact her foster mom.

Fiona is one of the sweetest dogs that you could ever meet. She is 100% housebroken. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, children. She loves to sit by her human on the couch or just relax wrapped up in a dog blanket in her bed. Fiona is a special needs dog. She is almost completely blind due to untreated dry eye. She requires an inexpensive eye ointment 2 x a day. Fiona was found to be heartworm positive and just completed her treatment.

Zoey is a small 1½ year old female. She has natural ears and tail. She is very timid and takes a long time to warm up. She likes to sleep in the bed under the covers with her human. She can be found at times sleeping or hiding in her crate. She enjoys playing with the other dogs or just being by herself. She is okay around children, but doesn't seek them out. She has some issues with housetraining, but is doing better with frequent trips outside. Zoey would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and someone that is not gone for long periods of time. Nick: 8 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 17 lb. Shots up-to-date.
Nick is strikingly handsome. He is a very sweet and lovable little guy that is looking for a forever home. He loves to cuddle and be by his person all the time. He enjoys going for walks and sometimes tries to walk you in the process. He needs a home with adults, he does fine with children, but would do better in a home with just adults.
He really needs a home where someone isn't gone long hours. Nick tends to forget his house manners and has accidents. If someone were home during the day, this could easily be overcome with keeping Nick on a regular schedule, using a belly band and really just working with him. He has gotten better in his current home, but tends to forget sometimes. Nick does not like being crated, he will go in a crate, but he will mess in it because he doesn't like being in there. So with someone who is home most of the day, he will not need a crate. It would be great for Nick to have a home with a fenced yard, but it isn't a requirement to adopt him.

Rue is an adorable boy. He is sweet as can be, and has the cutest face. He gets along well with the other dogs, and humans in the house. He is housetrained. Rue was found running in the country by the Animal Control officers many times. This happened so often that the officers all knew him by name and where he lived. Each time,he was picked up by his owner. This time, they did not come to get him. Rue loves to explore in the yard. He is learning how to walk well on a leash. Geno: 7 year old red male, neutered, docked tail with natural ears. 14.5", 15
lbs. Shots up to date. Found as a stray, but I can tell he has been cared for sometime
in his life because he has manners. Very much a gentleman. He is a very young 7 year
old. Acts much younger. He is a very nice guy, somewhat laid back but with just enough
go when it is needed to make him a great dog. He likes to take car rides, is sofa
trained, lives to watch ball games on tv and will make someone a really good friend.
Geno gets somewhat irritated with the 4 other min pins at my home and would prefer to be
an only dog if possible. He just can't understand why they are always so roudy! He
would get along well with a home that had older children who know how to respect dogs.

Riley is an adorable 3 year old chocolate min pin with uncropped ears and undocked tail. Riley was left by his family at a kill shelter and was rescued by Internet Miniature Pinscher Service. He is a very friendly and curious boy and loves everyone. Riley is still very young and energetic, he loves to go on long walks in the park and enjoy a good game of fetch. In the evenings, he would like nothing more than to curl up on the couch next to you for some TV time. Riley has been overlooked by our potential adopters so far because it just takes a little longer for his personality to shine through. Pepper is a nice little dog who is a bit fearful at first. He was a stray who didn't seem to have known many kind people. He was very distrusting at first and felt he had to put on a big bad front to try and scare everyone away. It almost cost him is life at the shelter. Once he found out people can be nice, he has turned into a totally different dog. He must have been out on his own for quite awhile as he was very skinny when he came into rescue and we are still working on adding a few more pounds to him. Taffy: Red female, spayed docked tail and cropped ears. 16", 18 lbs. Shots up-to-date, microchipped, heartworm negative, recent dental. Fully housetrained.
You couldn't ask for a more perfect pet. Sweet, gentle, playful and well-mannered are just a few words to describe Taffy. She is a pleasure to have around. She isn't a bit of trouble and gets along with everyone. She likes to be with the family and has started getting on the couch for cuddle time. She also likes her bed and will use her mouth to pull the blanket over her. When she gets up the blanket always sticks to her back; she looks like "royality" walking around with a "robe" draped over her shoulders. When outside she enjoys laying in the sun, keeping one eye open for a chance to catch a bird or chipmunk. When she sees them she is off like a rocket. It is so fun to watch her cute little expressions and silly antics. She loves to go on walks and gets so excited when she knows we are going that she playfully chases the other dogs. She walks well on a leash. When we talk to her she likes to does the "play bow", wiggles and wags. If she is feeling frisky she might grab a stuffed toy and shake the life out of it. Taffy is in good health. She walks at least a mile every day. She feels good and is obviously happy.

"Hi there, I'm Nelson as in Nelson county where I was found. I love the fenced yard I have now where I can rip and run until my heart is content. My foster mom says I am a gorgeous petite boy and we enjoy cuddles and trips to the pet store. She has grandchildren who are fun to play with. I like the 6 and 8 year old kids, but the 3 year old is too wild for my taste.
You'll have to forgive me for sometimes pottying in my crate when you are gone. I came to my foster home from a shelter and I have continued to improve in this area with fewer accidents. They take care of me here, but I need a place to finally call home. Could it be your place?"

Sugar: 4-5 yr old black & rust female, soon to be spayed, docked tail and cropped ears. 13", 15.1 lb. Shots up-to-date. Found as a stray.
Sugar is a sweet and obedient girl who has been through a very rough few weeks. She is so grateful to be in loving hands that she watches closely to see what she needs to do to make us happy also. She attached herself very quickly to one person and stuck right by her side like Velcro despite that big vet visit with all the needles.
She was shocked to meet all her foster dog buddies at first, but because the foster parents said so she let them come on over and check her out and after an hour wasn't bothered by them playing next to her while she napped.
She is a smart girl who adjust quickly and likes people who love dogs. Because of her timid nature, Sugar needs to go to a home without young children. Are you her kind of people?

Lil' Bit: 2-3 year-old black & rust male; 8.5 lbs, 10". docked tail, natural ears; neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative. Recent dental.
CUTE, CUTE, CUTE were my first words when I met this little bit of a dog! Let me tell you his story: Lil' Bit was found astray it was during a cold spell, he was shivering, hungry, lonely, just having a miserable time outside on his own. Late one evening, he limped up on to the front porch of a very kind woman who brought this skinny little guy in out of the cold and called IMPS to come to his rescue. Now look at him. ADORABLE and cute, cute, cute. He is in good health due to proper vet care, loving foster care and good nutrition. He is playful, loving, cuddly and ready for his new family.

Mooki is an awesome dog. This gorgeous chocolate female has the softest hair I've ever seen on a min pin. Mooki loves to cuddle and will jump up in any available lap. Although a little leery at first, she has been great with our kids. This little angel deserves a loving home. Could that be your home?

Nadia is a 4-5 yr old black & tan female, docked tail and uncropped ears. She stands 11" tall, and weighs 12 lbs. She was pulled from a shelter the day she was placed on the short list.
"Hi, I am Nadia, second minpin in command at my foster home. I am so busy with things to do and a household to oversee. Frankly I don't know how they made it before I got here. I would love to be commander in chief, but that spot was already claimed by a smaller female minpin when I got here so I give her the respect she is due. I run a tight border on the fence line outside. I usually call the first alert should a stranger appear and plus someone has to keep that huge dog next door in line."
"I make sure I get all the love and attention I need by laying across my foster parent's chests and 'talking' to them while they pet me and give me those lovely kisses on my neck. I love them back by rubbing my face on their cheek and giving them heartfelt kisses by twos and threes."
"I do have an odd combination of two quirks. I suffer from separation anxiety and general anxiety so I take medication daily and am looking for someone who works from home or is retired, yet I am also a lightening fast bolter around any open door. My foster parents crate or hold me while they do things like bring in groceries or greet people at the door so I can't escape. With diligent training I have gotten much better at my foster home and no longer have to be crated, but I will probably need reinforcement when I move to my forever home."

Holly is a 14 yr young minpin who is looking for a new home. She is friendly, gets along fine with other dogs and is a very healthy girl with many more years of love to give. She's lost her eyesight but not her spunk. Foster parent says she will follow the sound of clapping hands when you call her. Give this lovely senior a chance to win you heart.

Max: 5 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 9", 13 lb. Shots up-to-date.
Max is a sweet min pin who came to IMPS after his owner passed away. He is a mellow little guy and likes other dogs, cats and people. Max is not a "fragile" min pin. He is a muscular min pin with short legs, so he has a "stocky" appearance. His former owner took good care of him, by keeping him up to date on shots and heartworm preventative. He is housetrained and crate trained. Max is a great dog for someone who wants a dog that has grown out of the puppy stage, but still has a long life to live with a new family.
Max was neutered and had his teeth cleaned on February 19. He will be ready to go to a forever home on February 27, 2009.
Note: we will not fly this boy.

Rio: 5 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 14", 11 lb. Shots up-to-date. Owner give-up.
Rio will be 5 years old in August, 2009. He is 14 inches tall and weighs 11 pounds. He has had a rough couple of months but nothing that some tender, loving care and food won't take care of. He has only been at my house a couple of days and his personality is really coming out. He likes to play with the other dogs and the toys. Considering his care the past few months he is a wonderful dog and will make a wonderful companion for anyone.
Note: Rio is located in Central, LA - and we will not fly this boy.
