Vador will be 8 in September 2010. Black & Tan Male, Neutered,docked Tail, cropped ears. Approx. 10 lb. Shots up to date and on heartworm preventative. Owner Give Up.
Vador was very well taken care of and loved & spoiled. He is a very good boy, he has adjusted to being in a different home.He is Kenneled while his foster mom works she is gone 4 hours and home one then gone another 4 hours. he goes out side often so fence may be best and easiest (some times just a quik pee). He has been kenneled at night to but then started to whine most of night and had accidents, so he sleeps in the bed with his foster mom and sleeps all night long.
He has a teeny tiny kong which he loves and loves to play fetch with it inside. He also enjoys to take it out side in the fenced yard and play fetch with it too. He does well He brings it right back to you! He also likes small stuufed dog toys to. he likes to play
He travels well they took him every where with them. He rode well in the car too when I brought him to my house. He is house broke and will come try to tell you he has to potty, you just have to get used to his signals and i just take him out often too.He has had accidents but was my fault as i wasn't paying attention.he has never peed in my house.
He does of course Have to be either leashed or in a fenced yard as he is a runner I was told. He would also chase cars you can see this when on a leash.
He is very independent and isn't really a "kid dog" He doesn't mind older kids (maybe School age and older) But not toddlers.
Vador Loves to cuddle Under covers and does like to sleep under the covers in the human bed too! He does like to lay in your lap an sleep or by you also with a blanket he is in heaven. He spends a lot of time sleeping in his foster moms lap at the computer.
He is on a special prescription diet from vet for bladder health. That he must always be on.and nothing else, even gets the food as treat when he comes in from potty.
He requires a lot of out side breaks before you kennel him for any length of time. or a nice good walk.
Vador with his frequent need to potty would do best in a home where some one is either home all or some of the day or even home for lunch so he can have a short out or walk(block) he does potty more on a walk.
He is very loving once he gets to know you and sweet, he does take time to adjust to a new person. Vador had his same home for most of his life he just needs a home where he will be well loved and spoiled for the rest of his life.

If you want a balanced dog, look no more! Meet Tingo and Tango! The most well balanced dogs I've ever fostered. They are larger Min Pins, so if you don't want a tiny dog, one of these guys would be perfect for you! Since they are brothers, both dogs have similar behaviors.Tango is a few pounds heavier than Tingo. Tingo injured his leg a year ago and it was dislocated, but it has healed completely. It is slightly mishaped but it does not affect his activity level at all. They are very sweet dogs with no behavior problems at all...very well adjusted dogs. They are not food aggressive what-so-ever, obey basic commands, are very playful, good watch dogs, and ready to fill a home with puppy love! Both dogs are crate trained, good with other dogs and cats, and great with kids too! We are working on housetraining. Both dogs are high energy and must have a fenced yard to run around in. They are on an IAMS diet and they need to stay on the IAMS for their good health. They also must go to a home where they can live inside with their human companions. So please, if you want an outside dog, I cannot adopt either dog to you as these guys must be kept inside. I would like to adopt them together if possible, but I know that might not be what happens. Please contact me if you are interested in either dog.

Chili is a mellow fellow who just wants to be loved. He needs someone who is at home with him to let him out to potty. He is housetrained, but doesn't like being left alone all day. Are you looking for a calm Min Pin to cuddle with and be your companion? If so, Chili's the boy for you. He is very sweet and well-adjusted. He is crate trained, in fact, he likes to hang out in his crate - his own little dog cave. He knows ssome basic commands, such as sit, stay, go outside.

Meet Doobie! This little boy needs his forever home. He has only had one owner since he was a puppy. Doobie's owner lost her home and was very sad that circumstances forced her to give him up. He has been well loved and cared for -- she even rocked him to sleep. We are determined to find an equally loving home for him. Can you find it in your heart to open up your home? Do you have a child who would love this young dog? Can you promise to treat him with loving kindness? He is shy at first, but warms up with love and kindness. He likes to be close to his people and he sits on my lap while typing. He likes to share a chair with his person. Codie is looking for her forever home. She is housebroken and crate trained; she will even let you know when she needs to go outside. She needs a home with no children. She is a sweet girl that loves attention, belly rubs and giving you kisses. It takes Codie time to warm up to new people, but once she does she likes to cuddle by you.

Zoey: 5½ years old black & tan spayed female, docked tail and un-cropped ears, 10 lbs. Shots up-to-date and micro-chipped. She is crate and potty trained. She gets along very well with other dogs.
Zoey can be a little shy with new people but warms up quickly and then is playful, sweet and loves to be on a lap or beside her human. Zoey is a little food thief, she will butt into anyone else's bowl once she has finished hers, we are working with her on this and she is making progress. Zoey can be an escape artist and a big climber, she will scale her way up and over most gates. Or she will find a way under, around or through to be people or other dogs. However, if her humans and Kobe are with her, she will run, play and prance about without a care in the world.
Kobe: 5 year old black & tan neutered male, docked tail and un-cropped ears, 8 lbs. Shots up-to-date and micro-chipped. He is crate and potty trained.
Kobe is very shy of new people and dogs and gets scared easily. He needs a home that is willing to be patient and work with him. He likes to protect his food and toys, something else that his new home needs to be willing to work with him on. Kobe has learned quickly from our other dogs behaviors, so I believe it is only a matter of time before this behavior will diminish. Once he is comfortable with his surroundings and people, he is a lovable little cuddle-bug. Kobe loves to snuggle under a blanket or pillow. He is the sweetest little guy you will ever see.
Kobe and Zoey are bonded and have been together for the past four years. They will only be placed together. They love to lay in the sun, roll in the grass and chase bugs. They sleep, play and cuddle together. They need to be in a home with no children due to Kobe's current behavior quirks.

This pretty little girl has spent her life up until now in a puppy mill being bred. She is skittish around people, which is to be expected, but she is great with other dogs. Coco - "ADOPTION PENDING": chocolate female, copped and docked, 9", 9 lbs., spayed, UTD.
Coco is a former puppymill dog who spent her first years raising puppies. Despite what was a hard life she is sweet and loving, and willing to give humans another chance. She's a tiny little Pin who fits just perfectly on anyone's lap! She's learning to trust people but is still leery of fast movements or carried objects. She wants to be loved so much but is just still so afraid! Coco understands that she needs to potty outside and will do so every time she's taken out but she still has to be watched closely inside. She will use a pee pad in a pen and keep her own bed clean which is wonderful for a little mill dog. Her teeny tiny ears are just adorable, as is her crooked little grin! If you are willing to work a bit to earn the trust of a sweet little dog you will have a devoted friend for life. Unfortunately, because she is so nervous around new people she will need to go into an adults only home. She is, however, wonderful with other dogs and likely with cats. She ignores our birds...

Krissy: 2 yr old black & tan female, soon to be spayed, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 12", 10 lb. Rescued from shelter.
Krissy is a gorgeous, lean approximately 2 year old black and tan girl, 12", 10#, who was rescued from a shelter then transported to her foster Mom by some very special men....Krissy is all natural with the most expressive ears, and a tail that just keeps wagging. She is the happiest, sweet, most loving pin, and all who have met her agree. Krissy gets along with the other 6 in the house, loves to burrow under the covers and sleep in bed.....she not only goes outside but is potty-pad trained, and I didn't hear her bark until she was outside with the others and there was a reason to bark(ok it was a rabbit but in this house that is a valid reason LOL!).....a tiny growl from her when another is encrouching on her space, otherwise this tiny girl has no signs of aggression whatsoever. She is a jumper for attention but is a quick learner, realizing already that it doesn't get her what she wants. Krissy leaps like a deer thru the snow and is a treat to watch, and comes back into the house when called. Please contact this foster Mom is you wuld like more information about Krissy.....

"Hi my name is Radar....I am a very special boy, cropped and docked, chocolate with a beautiful coat. I was a puppymill dog, so am very scared at times and my foster Mom has to talk to me before picking me up but I love to go outside and run in the big fenced yard. I'm 12", 12#, with not an ounce of aggression in me....I get along with the other 6 in the house, especially Izzy who I love to play with. Because I'm so shy I try to sneak up on my foster Mom's chair with all the others and curl up behind her so she won't see me.....I loved to be held and cuddled once in a while then run back to my favorite blankets and curl up. Because of my puppymill backround, I know how to make the other dogs spill their food bowls so I can have some too so Mom feeds everybody in separate places but she can pick up my bowl without any problems. My absolutely favorite time of day is when we all get bones and treats but I stay back from the others so Mom has to throw mine and hope one of the others doesn't snitch it."

Marian: 5 yr old red female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 8", 11 lb. Shots up-to-date. Rescued from shelter.
This is Marian and she is a sweet, SWEET girl. Found as a stray by animal control, she waited and waited for her family to claim her, and nobody came. Ten longs days passed and still no one came. IMPS was not going to let anything happen to this precious girl and came to the rescue. Marian is a bundle and love and is the most squishable, squeezable little gal ever. She is so squishable and squeezable, that we nick-named her "Squeeze" and will sometimes call her "Squish" for fun! She answers Squeeze much better than her shelter name, Marian, so Squeeze is what she goes by. Squeeze is so easy to take care of and very laid back. She just loves to snuggle and cuddle, and will fall asleep in the crook of your arm. Squeeze also loves to sleep in the human bed with a family member, and sleeps very well through the night, and doesn't' need to get up until morning. Squeeze gets along well with the other 4 resident dogs. She barks at the cat, and may do fine with a cat, once she gets acclimated to a home, with proper introduction. Squeeze has not been tested with children, but she is so gentle that she will more than likely get along with just fine. Squeeze does fine going outside to potty, but hates the cold, so I have to watch to make sure she goes, before she comes back in. Then, she is good for a few hours. AnaBella: 10 yr old red female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 14", 15.6 lb. Shots up-to-date. Owner give-up.
SPECIAL NEEDS DOG: AnaBella is a 10 year old, spayed red min pin with docked tail and natural ears. She is a larger min pin, at about 14 inches and 15 pounds. She is also blind due to untreated dry eye. She is mostly housebroken, although she has the occasional accident. If she were in a household where someone was home most of the day, I'm sure she would be 100% in no time. Her former home said she was housebroken, using a doggy door. AnaBella is a very laid back, loving min pin who loves to sit by you on the sofa and cuddle. She is crate trained. She can be a bit of a barker, so she would not be suitable for an apartment. Being blind, she tends to walk on her back legs and paw the air when she is looking for her human or for a treat, so older kids and adults would be fine, but she could knock down a small child. She does OK on a leash, although would much prefer to have a yard to run around in, which she has in her foster home. I think AnaBella would be fine as a only dog, or possibly with 1 or 2 other dogs. In her current home she is one of 10, and being blind, would do better with fewer dogs. She will need medication to treat her dry eye for the rest of her life. She is currently taking a food supplement and uses a topical eye drop - both of which cost less than $10 a month. Won't you consider giving one of our special needs senior dogs a chance to be a member of your family?

Baron: 1 year old, neutered red male, docked with natural ear. 16.4 lbs approximately 16 inches tall
Baron is a big, beautiful boy. He's somewhat bigger than the average min pin and would make a good walking partner just because of that reason.
He is crate trained and appears to be housetrained, although he has marked a bit at my house. He was not neutered when he came into rescue and now that he is I expect, with a little work, the marking will stop.
I have had him around my three year old granddaughter briefly and I think he would do well with respectful children. He likes other dogs and another playful dog in the house would be best for him. He also will need a fenced in yard; being a youngster, he needs to run off his energy and he loves to lay in the yard and sunbathe.

Jin: 5 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 12", 13 lb. Rescued from shelter.
"Hey folks, I am the best guy ever! I love to go on walks and get really get excited when it's time to go as I will dance around all over the place. I also do good at walking on a leash & following directions. I do really well in making sure I go outside to potty and will go to the door when I need to be excused. I am very friendly & get all with everybody, but little humans are not really good for me to be around.
Jin is a great guy despite his vision being slightly impaired, which was due to not getting his eyes treated in a timely manner. He will need daily medication for his eyes to keep them moist. Eye drops two times a day helps. He also has a slight limp from a possible broken leg in his past but this does not slow him up any. Jin is a very loving, snuggley little guy, wh being around his humans. Don't pass this one up.

Penny is a sweet precious little girl who loves to cuddle and be held. Sometimes she will bark at new people but that's only to get attention as "Look at me"! Marshall: 6 yr old red male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 8-9", 7.4 lb. Shots up-to-date.
Marshall was just recently released by a breeder so his life has not been the best up to this point. Marshall is a shy little guy but will make up to you after a bit. He has lived in a crate with a wire floor for most of his life. He is a little red guy with dock tail and cropped ears and very tiny, only about 8-9 inches at the shoulder and weighs only 7.4 lbs. He has been brought up to date on all vaccines and had a dental. He did loose a few teeth and is temporally on canned food until his gums heal. He likes sleeping in a nice clean crate with a warm pad to cuddle on.

Romeo: 8+ yr old black and rust male, 16 lbs, docked tail, cropped ears, neutered, up to date on shots. Recent dental.
Romeo or Romey as we like to call him has lost a lot of hearing and his sight is diminishing but you wouldn't know it. He gets around great. He responds to hand signals or loud claps. Romey absolutely LOVES to be petted and cuddled that is how he got his name. His little tail wags a million miles an hour when you fuss over him. Romeo gets along with other dogs and likes to go on walks with them but doesn't play except in the morning. He is always the first one to go outside so he can be first to come in. As each of the other dogs comes in he "tossles their hair and gives them a playful push" then races into the kitchen to get fed. He likes to jump around on his back legs and rare up his front legs. When outside he likes to participate in chasing the squirrel; he doesn't see it but when the other dogs take off, he is right in the pack chasing without knowing what is going on. He doesn't like to be picked up because he has some arthritis in his back but always wants to be petted. He is good with cats...he does not chase or bother them at all. He is really handsome especially when he trots across the yard. He has a beautiful and graceful prance. It is such a pleasure to watch him. He sleeps in a crate at night and when we are gone. He doesn't like to climb a lot of stairs, I think it is due to not seeing too well. The perfect home for Romeo would be a quiet home where he can be on schedule that includes daily walks and lots of petting. Won't you please consider adding a little love to your life by adopting Romey?

Murphy is a real charmer, claiming any visitors to our home as "his own". He loves to make friends with everyone. Murphy is also smart as a whip and has learned to "stay" when we tell him to. Murphy has an enlarged heart and requires a pill once a day You'd never know there is anything wrong with him by looking at him because he looks and acts like a typical min pin! I can leap tall bounds and would make a great agility dog. I can be crated when you are gone until I understand the rules in your home. From Foster Mom: Monty is a really good boy but as a typical min pin, he can also get a little mischievous at times and will do funny little things like tear up paper if left around. I wish I had his energy sometimes. I swear it seems Monty has more spunk than all the other dogs combined so I hope I can find a home for him that will make sure he gets all the play time and exercise he needs. He wants to be with me all the time so we are working on him sitting somewhere else where he can see and hear me, but not be on me. From Teddy: "I am looking for a wonderful family that will love me as much I as I promise to love them! My previous family didn't take care of me and fed me way too much. I came to rescue very heavy (38 lbs) and was so uncomfortable, I had trouble going up or down stairs or even running. My foster mom put me on a diet and got me down to the slim and trim 17 lbs that I am now. As you can see from my videos, I'm a happy boy now.....my whole body wiggles with excitement. I will wave at my foster Mom when she comes home. There are a lot of dogs here so sometimes I can get a little jealous because I want my foster mom all to myself. I'd love to find a home where I would be spoiled with attention. I will do fine as an only dog as long as I get walked and played with. I would prefer to sleep with you because I like taking all the blankets and twirl around in them. One of my favorite things to do is watch Animal Planet on TV. When I hear the dogs barking on TV, I talk back to them. Do you think they can hear me?"
From Foster Mom: Teddy is a very happy-go-lucky pooch. He loves to play and I think he would play even more if he had lots of one on one attention. From Hickory: "Have you ever been terrified when a stranger walks up to you? Well I have. The reason why I have a fear of strangers is because I had almost no human contact for the first year and a half of my life. Now that I live in a foster home, I am slowly learning to not be afraid of people. I have lived with my foster mom for 16 weeks and love her to pieces. She is letting me come out of my shell on my own. I love to invite her to play by putting my face on the ground and my butt in the air. I wait for her to move and then I run around her in circles to listen to her laugh. I wake her up in the morning by giving her the tiniest little kiss on her face and watching her wake up and smile at me."
From Foster Mom: Hickory came to me a very scared little man. He would run to the other end of the house when I would get out of my chair. But now he sits with me in the recliner and doesn't move, even when I get up. When I'm making dinner for all the dogs, he gets all happy and excited and rounds everyone for dinner. Hickory craves human attention and now follows me everywhere I go. I have had the pleasure of starting the wonderful process of teaching Hickory what it's like to be loved. Now it's time for someone else to finish what I've started and give him the loving home he deserves. It will take some time for him to learn to trust you, but I promise you it will be worth the wait!

Mars is a joy! He came to IMPS one day before he was due to be euthanized with a gash above his eye, malnourished, flea bitten, and extremely fearful of everyone and everything. Several months later Mars is back to an ideal body weight, has shiny fur, and a love for people. At first he is a little shy because of his traumatic past, but as soon as he smells your hand and you throw the ball he will be your best friend. Mars loves to play fetch! He brings the ball right to your hands or feet, nudge it towards you, politely sit, and wait for you to throw with a little bark of encouragement. Mars is a great big snuggler too! All you have to do is put a blanket on your couch or a dog bed and he will tuck himself in! Better yet, put a blanket on your lap and he will make himself at home. Mars would be good with a laid back female or male dog, but too many may overwhelm him. He loves to run in the backyard or go for a walk. He is a perfect gentlemen through and through!

LeBron: 2 yr old black & tan male, neutered, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 10", 10 lb. Shots up-to-date.
LeBron is a very cute 2 year old male that is looking for a loving, permanent home. LeBron is recovering from a broken leg after being hit by a car. LeBron's former owners were unable to pay for his vet care, so they left him at the vet. LeBron's leg is healing nicely, and he is expected to make a full recovery. LeBron seems to be a sweet dog that wants to be close to someone at all times. LeBron would make a great addition to any family.
