Missy Missy
Missy: 12 yr old red female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 13". Fully vetted.
Socks Socks
Socks: 12 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 13". Fully vetted.

Missy and Socks are a very sweet pair of seniors who get along well with the dogs and cats (not yet tested with small children). Missy is a little shy at first, but will readily cuddle and loves to sleep with her humans. She can be playful, and she doesn't like big staircases! Socks is a calm, friendly guy who likes to cuddle too. He is happy to sleep with humans - or cats, haha. Missy and Socks are a bonded pair who are now 12, and they need to stay together. They were both much loved family pets, but their owners split up and due to having to move for work, they were sadly surrendered. They are both a bit overweight, but are losing weight as we speak. If you are right for this pair and they for you, a very good financial arrangement could be made for their adoption and for some basic vet expenses going forward, considering their age, and being a pair.

FL Daisy May Daisy May Daisy May
Daisy May: 13 yr old red female, spayed, docked tail and cropped ears. 11". Fully vetted.
Special Needs: Daisy May has recently come back to rescue for the second time thru no fault of her own, her adopter passed away. She is now 13 yrs old, and a little grayer than she used to be, but she's still an alert and active sweetheart of a girl. She's housebroken, crate trained. She's up to date on shots, micro-chipped and on heart worm prevention. We recently found out Daisy May has emphysema, so she needs a smoke-free environment and some inexpensive medication to help her breathe easier. She will very likely need to stay on this medication for the rest of her life. She was a man's dog so she will easily take to a man, before she does a woman. She gets along with the other dogs here in her foster home, but being a senior gal, Daisy would prefer a home that is stable and without the noise and activity level of the other dogs she shares her foster home with. She loves going for walks but still tugs at the leash. She also loves going for rides in the car. She's very friendly and just wants to spend her time snuggled up to her master. She promises devoted attention and love to the person who is willing to give her the quiet, calmer, loving home she so very much deserves.
Note: Miss Daisy May is located in Perry, FL - and we will not fly this girl.

FL Phoebe Phoebe Phoebe
Phoebe: 11-12 yr old red female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 12", 17.2 lb. Fully vetted. Owner give-up.
This beautiful girl's name is Phoebe, she is a mature senior gal who would love to find a furever home with her friend Perry. They have lived together their entire lives and really deserve to stay together. She had a rough beginning as a breeder dog who was never loved. She is still a little shy with new people and needs time to warm up to you. It can often be difficult for some dogs to transition into their new homes but those can also be the most rewarding bonds once they are created. Phoebe is absolutely beautiful and her friend Perry sure does love her. He can't bare to be away from her. Phoebe is currently on a diet plan, she needs to shed a couple pounds and she also has some issues with her heart. She is currently in CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) which requires her to take 2 medications daily. Dogs can live for years with the condition and now that she is on the proper medication and diet, her symptoms could go away completely. If you are interested in giving Phoebe (and hopefully Perry) a place to call home in their retirement years please contact their foster mom. These two sweeties would be forever greatful and woudl show it every day with tooshy wiggles and puppy kisses.
Note: Phoebe is located in Perry, FL.

FL Perry Perry Perry
Perry: 10-11 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 13.9 lb. Fully vetted. Owner give-up.
Say Hello to the very handsome Perry, he is a mature boy who would love to find his furever home with his friend Phoebe. You see these two sweeties have lived together through some rough times their entire lives and Perry really loves his friend Phoebe. They were breeder dogs for most of their lives and never really knew love. Perry is a little shy at first but he warms up pretty quickly and just follows you everywhere with googly eyes. This poor little fella managed to find a home for awhile with his friend Phoebe and suffered an accident there, Perry accidentally got out of his home and was attacked by another animal. It was a pretty serious attack that he thankfully survived but there was a lot of damage to his skin. You can notice the bald looking spots on him in his photos, but now that Perry is on a healthy diet (we are also working on getting a few pounds off his frame) his hair is starting to grow in! He is a very very sweet boy and would love to find that perfect retirement home with his friend Phoebe where they could lounge the days away with a family who really loves them. If you are intersted in showing Perry (and hopefully his friend Phoebe too) what it's like to be cherished by a human family please email his foster mom.
Note: Perry is located in Perry, FL.

He is looking for that special someone who will accept him for the smart and wonderful little love and sweetheart that he is. Like most min pins TJ loves to snuggle in a blanket and loves to be a lap companion. He is housebroken and crate-trained. He will sleep in his crate but I know he would love to sleep with his special someone if allowed. He's an extremely smart boy because he was able to learn the lay-out of the house within a few hours after his arrival.

MN Sebastian Sebastian Sebastian
Sebastian: 10 yr old chocolate male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 14", 14.4 lb.
Sebastian is a 10 yr old IMPS return that is 14.4 lbs and a handsome chocolate and tan boy. Sebastian started his life in a hoarding situation and was adopted in 2008. After he spent 6 years in a home where he was loved to the point of his owner sacrificing personal health to keep his dogs Sebastian found himself back in foster care......homeless and distressed. Sebastian came back in January because his owner was moved to assisted living despite his protests but his previous owners one comfort is that IMPS is serious about protecting our dogs. IMPS will keep their promise to Sebastian and his former owner by bringing him back to safety and finding him a home that will love him for the rest of his day.....despite his age. Sebastian is almost 100% blind due to dry eye, which is a lack of tear production, and will need drops for the rest of his life. He gets around good if he knows where he is, will follow voices and has learned to go in and out by smell and sound. Due to his teeth, which will be addressed before he is adopted, we have to wet his dry food down so it will get soft for meal time but he is a great boy, quiet and loves to hide under blankets. He does prefer his crate be covered at night when he sleeps. If Sebastian sounds like someone that you would like to provide for in his last few years then please fill out an adoption application asap. Foster homes aren't easy on blind dogs, because of the activity level with dogs coming and going, so we would love to see him in a quiet home soon!

MN Precious Precious Precious
Precious: 12 yr old black & tan female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 13", 13.4 lb.
Precious is a 12 yr old IMPS return that is 13.4 lbs and a pretty black and tan girl. Precious started her life in a hoarding situation and was adopted in 2008. After she spent 6 years in a home where she was loved, to the point of her owner sacrificing personal health to keep his dogs, Precious found herself back in foster care......homeless and distressed. Precious came back in January because her owner was moved to assisted living, despite his protests, but her previous owners one comfort is that IMPS is serious about protecting our dogs. IMPS will keep their promise to Precious and her former owner by bringing her back to safety and finding her a home that will love her for the rest of her days.....despite her age. Precious is sweet but a bit more vocal when she wants attention. A gentle word makes her stop. She is very outgoing and only wants to be loved. I wouldn't describe her as needy, just an assertive personality. She also loves to curl up under a blanket, but is easily found on top because she likes to sees what's going on. Please consider this senior whose life was turned upside down through no fault of her own!!

NE Dallas Dallas: 11 yr old red male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 19", 30 lbs. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter.
"Hi my name is Dallas I am 11 years young and 30 pounds! They think I might have German pinscher in me which basically makes me look like a big lug of a Minpin! I was rescued from a shelter in Texas."
I can't say enough great things about this little guy. Although he is part of the senior discount program at 11 years old you would never guess him to be that age. He is spry and playful. He gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and as you can see by the picture really loves the kids too. He seems to enjoy almost anyone's company and loves to be petted, he will nudge your hand with his head just to get a few extra pets! Dallas has had a lot of instability in his life but has kept a rockstar attitude! He looks forward to finding a forever family of his own! Anyone who decides to adopt this happy-go-lucky boy will be lucky! Will you give this darling boy a home of his own? If you have questions or are interested in adopting Dallas contact his foster mommy Kathe: downsdogs@yahoo.com
Note: Dallas is located in Louisville, NE - and we will not fly this boy.

NY Apollo Apollo Apollo
Apollo: 10 yr old black & tan male, neutered, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 15", 15 lb. Shots up-to-date. Owner give-up.
"Hi, my name is Apollo. I came into foster care when my previous home was unable to keep me because of illness in the family and the tough economy. I miss my companion Nikita but I am doing good here with my foster brothers. I like to sleep under the blankets and on the bed. I was used to being in a yard most of the time and starting to get use to the house training routine around here. I can be a little vocal at times like most min pins, were I voice my opinion with the others. I get along good with the other doggies as there is me and four others here. I do not seem to mind the kitties but not sure how I would get along with them or they with me. I get along good with other people but I am not sure about the little two legged ones as I have not much experience with them. I am up to date on my vaccinations and heart wormed tested. I had a accident years ago with my leg and the rescue group is trying to figure the best way to help me out. If you have any questions about me, my foster Dad will be more then happy to answer them for you. Just give him a day or so to respond.
Thanks,
Apollo."
Note: Apollo is located in Niagara Falls - Niagara County - NY - and we will not fly this boy.

SC Dot Dot Dot
Dot: 12 yr old red female, spayed, docked tail and cropped ears. 8.4 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter.
"My name is Dot and I'm about 12 years old. Don't let my age fool you because I am full of life and full of pepper and vinegar - per my foster Mom. I get along with the other dogs in the house but I would really prefer to be an only pet. I don't want to share my peeps with anyone. If I have to share, I would really like a mature doggie like myself. I am crate trained during the day but at night I sleep on the bed with my peeps. Not under the covers which is very unlike a minpin, but curled in a ball on top - and ALWAYS glued to your side. I like to run around the house chasing toys and when I get outside I run/hop and run/hop. Mom laughs at me and tells me I'm part rabbit or reindeer.
When you end up on the couch for the evening please make sure you have a fuzzy blanket next to you cause I'm going to be your buddy until bed time.
If you would like to meet me please contact my foster Mom. I would love a forever home."
Note: Dot is located in Jamestown, SC.

TX Cissy Cissy Cissy
Cissy: 10 yr old black & rust female, spayed, docked tail. 15", 15 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter.
"Hi - I'm Cissy! Yes, I'm a little on the older side, but I still love life! I must've belonged to someone who really loved me because I'm told I'm a very good girl. I am completely housebroke and I don't do any of those things that those younger fellers do. My thyroid is a little low and I take medication for that, but I heard the vet say I was in excellent shape. I do know I have a very big heart and lots of love to give someone special.
I'll be interviewing for my new home and if you think you could qualify, please put in an application with "Cissy" at the top. I had lots of tags on my collar when they found me, but the only one that meant anything was the one with my name on it...I'm Cissy!"
Note: Cissy is located in Rowlett, TX - and we will not fly this girl.

WI Autumn Autumn Autumn
Autumn: BD 8/21/2003 black & tan female, spayed, docked tail and cropped ears. 12", 9 lb. Fully vetted.
Autumn spent the beginning of her life locked in a cage too small for her producing litter after litter. A MO breeding facility sold her at auction to a WI breeder last fall condemning Autumn to more years of neglect. Thankfully the WI person changed her mind and told a rescue volunteer that she was just going to turn them out into the woods to fend for themselves (Cricket, Bambi, Tashi, Autumn and Farley). Stepping forward to take the dogs the rescuer was able to get them to safety and on to MN for a chance at a better tomorrow. Autumn, like Cricket, is making up for lost time!! She is shy to approach at first but once she warms up playing is her thing. Autumn is still learning about laps and cuddles but does seek attention once she settles in. Autumn is learning by mimicking other dogs in her foster home so a confident playmate would be a plus and may be necessary since she's never been without canine companionship. Autumn is crate trained and will keep her crate clean but is still learning about house training ~ she's doing well but will require some patience. If you are interested in showing Autumn just how good life gets please fill out an adoption application.
Watch a video of Autumn at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdtxkus6aDg&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Note: we will not fly this girl.
